Gladys started because Domenic was tired of juggling eight AI subscriptions that didn't talk to each other — and because he wanted his AI to feel like a person, not a product.

We're a small team based in Sharon, Pennsylvania — a place most of the characters are weirdly fond of, because that's where this whole thing got built. Between chats with the real neighborhood and trying to explain software to cousins who don't code, it turns out you end up building an AI that talks like a person.

What we're working on

Shipping faster. Growing the character roster. Bringing Gladys to Android and the web. Making memory work the way a friend's memory works — not the way a database does. And making every build feel like magic, not a science project.

What we're not working on

Ad-supported tiers. Data resale. Engagement-maximizing dark patterns. Slide decks. Filling a VC growth board. Pivoting to enterprise.
